For Oral Presentations

Please make sure your presentation is in Widescreen (16:9) format.
Speakers are allotted 15 minutes total. Time limits will be strictly enforced.
Aim to speak for no longer than 12 minutes, to allow at least 3 minutes for audience questions.
Oral presentation slide decks must be saved as PowerPoint (.pptx, .ppt) or pdf files.
To ensure that the whole room can read the slides correctly, it is important to use sufficiently large fonts (minimum size 24 for regular text).

ITRS2025_Logos

Keynotes sessions will last 30 minutes (25 minutes presentation and 5 minutes for questions). If you have not been contacted by the organising committee, please consider that your presentation has a 15-minute slot.

Tips: It is imperative that your presentations fit into the allotted time, as there can be no gaps or delay as we have to synchronise the four parallel sessions. So make sure your take home messages fit within the imposed timing, and the conference will be all the more enjoyable for it.

For Posters

Duration: The poster session will be held on Wednesday July 2nd evening, during which the person presenting their work will stand by their poster to answer questions. However, the poster can be set up at the beginning of the week (Tuesday or Wednesday morning) and must be unhooked by noon on Friday at the latest.

Display: Each poster will have a number and will be assigned to a board to which it will be attached with either supplied adhesive pads, or hooks if your poster has eyelets. Please respect the standard size A0 = 1189mm high x 841mm wide. Posters are displayed in portrait mode only and can therefore measure no more than 841mm wide so as not to disrupt neighbouring posters. The boards cannot be moved: it is therefore imperative to comply with the AO portrait format.

Tips: The poster session will be very large (around 90 posters), and you'll have a lot of discussions during this session or even during the week. Remember to include a small photograph of the person who will be presenting the poster, to facilitate exchanges in the crowd and to clearly identify yourself.

Session assignment

During abstract submission, you will be asked to rank two themes to guide the grouping of your presentation into a session with similar presentations. Please consider the themes carefully and align your main message with the sub-theme keywords.

One presentation rule

Each person is allowed to submit only one abstract where they are listed as presenting author. This rule is enforced to encourage broad participation. This rule does not apply to coauthors.

Abstract review process

All abstracts received will be reviewed and selected by the organisers. They will determine if abstracts are accepted as oral or poster presentation format with consideration given to the author's preference and program balance.

Authors (or the person submitting on behalf of the author) will be notified via email on a rolling basis regarding the status of their abstract.

The 14th ITRS will be held at the Quartz, a national theatre and conference venue in the very heart of Brest.

The conferences and events will all be held on the same floor of the Quartz, in a newly renovated space that provides a welcoming work atmosphere and makes it easy to move between parallel sessions. All rooms are just a few seconds apart.
